Europe’s most successful team announced the return of 61-year-old Ancelotti on Tuesday. He was the coach of Real from 2013 to 2015 in the previous phase.

Many have been rumored to be Real’s coaches since Ancelotti’s former assistant Zinedine Zidane stepped down. Massimiliano Allegri, Antonio Conto, Mauricio Pachettino, Raul, and Chavez Alonso were on the list of potential coaches but in the end, Real relied on Ancelotti.

As coach of the Santiago Bernabeu team, Ancelotti’s winning rate in the previous round was 85 percent. He won 89 of 119 matches in all competitions. Ancelotti has won the most number of wins in at least 50 matches as a Real coach.

Everton signed a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Italian coach in December 2019. He left the team after 18 months.

Carlo Ancelotti has won a total of 15 major titles in his rich coaching career. He is one of three coaches to have won three titles at the European Championships. The other two are Liverpool legend Bob Paisley and Real Madrid’s Zidane.

Ancelotti has won the Champions League twice for AC Milan and once for Real Madrid. Real’s tenth title in European top football came in his hands, known as La Desima.

He has also won domestic top leagues for Milan in Italy, Chelsea in England, PSG in France, and Bayern Munich in Germany.

Injured George Real failed to win any major titles in the 2014-15 season after winning the Champions League with Ancelotti in the first season. As a result, the farewell bell rang.

Ancelotti’s coaching career during that period was a memorable success, winning 22 matches in a row from September 2014 to January 2015. At this time they digested only 10 with 80 goals.

Ancelotti took on the responsibility of putting Real back into orbit after spending their first titleless season in 11 years.
